Karterados is a scenic village where you can enjoy long, quiet and romantic walks. It is located almost at the center of Santorini, approximately 2 km from Fira. The road from Karterados leads to Exo Gialos beach, a remote beach with black volcanic pebbles, impressive rock formations, and crystal-clear waters. Walking along the paved paths, one can meet the traditional, old cave houses built in a gorge along with remarkable churches and chapels.
ACCOMODATION
This astonishing residential complex has four different villas. Nestled among white-washed cave houses and churches, it enjoys the traditional village of Karterados from its private terraces. Originally built in the late 18th century, it served as a wine press and residence. The old “canaves” have been transformed into spacious Villas retaining the Cycladic authenticity.
